Parents Association Board of Directors has selected the following projects
for funding in 2001-2002:
Family Weekend Tailgate, submitted by the Alumni Association ($2,960);
Leaders in Mentoring, submitted by the Rape Victim Advocacy Program ($7,878);
Night Games, submitted by Residence Services ($5,228);
WOW! Here at Last, Office of Student Life, ($3,000);
Night Hawks, University Life Centers, ($5,000); and
Illegal Drug Awareness Education/Crime Prevention, Department of Public Safety, ($1,785).
"All of these units are providing educational programs and alternative activities to address the problems of abusive drinking and its harmful effects," says Jane Hoshi, executive secretary of the board.
