Twister! Mayflower Students Relax in New Game Room

Twister!

It’s 10:30 p.m. and you’ve been studying since dinner. You really need a break. It’s not hard to find a group ready to play a late-evening game of Twister in Mayflower Residence Hall’s new recreation/game room. If you’re more in the mood for arcade games or pool, they’re available, too. After the fun, Mayflower’s coffee house is just next door, looking out over the Iowa River.

The new amenities were created when Mayflower was renovated two years ago. Rows of offices were taken out and student-centered areas replaced them. Now the same process is under way at Currier Residence Hall in a former storage area (see article).
