One way to wish you student well

Two students open a gift packMore than 1,600 fruit baskets brought smiles to the faces of residence hall students this past year, according to John Soper, the 2003-04 Associated Residence Hall (ARH) president. Letters are mailed to parents twice a year, once in October and again in the spring, offering parents the opportunity to remember their student by providing them with goodies at finals time. ARH members work with a local business to take orders, assemble the baskets, and deliver them to residence hall desks, for students to pick up the Monday before finals. The money raised by the project goes to help fund events and activities for ARH, the residence halls’ student government.
