“A
Tradition of Dance, A Future of Hope”
That was the theme of this February’s Dance Marathon, during which 900 University of Iowa students danced for 24 hours straight to raise funds for patients at Children’s Hospital of Iowa at UI Hospitals and Clinics.
The annual UI Dance Marathon creates awareness of children fighting cancer and raises money to assist them.
UI Dance Marathon has raised more than $3.4 million in its first ten years of existence; this year’s event raised a record $625,785. For more information, visit their website.
