A snowy day

Students sledding on the west side of the Pentacrest behind Old Capitol. Despite severe weather conditions, which ultimately caused University administrators to cancel classes, some UI students ventured outside after a Dec. 9 snowstorm dumped a foot of snow in the Iowa City area. Some found the hill behind Old Capitol to be the perfect campus spot for sledding, while others instigated a massive snowball fight.
