On Iowa! program will welcome new Hawkeyes

Starting with the class of 2015, all new first-year students will begin their Iowa experience with a three-day introduction to the University’s culture and traditions. The program, called On Iowa!, will complement and build on Orientation activities, and offer students the opportunity to get to know each other and the campus before fall classes begin. This year’s activities will begin with a kick-off celebration at Kinnick Stadium and wrap up with Convocation and a block party at President Mason’s residence.

Iowa creates new study abroad opportunities

Iowa’s newest study abroad program, the Iowa International Summer Institute, will offer General Education Program classes in Florence, Paris, and London. Each four-week, three-semester-hour course will be taught in English and incorporate elements of the surrounding city. Students will have the option of taking one or two classes, and of moving between locations. Learn more on the study abroad web page.
