No doubt you and your student have been adjusting during the past few weeks. Please take advantage of this opportunity to keep the lines of communication open. One of the best—but also most difficult—jobs we have as parents is to lend an ear. Check-in with your students, and also give them the opportunity to grow during these first months. By sending your children to The University of Iowa, you have made a wonderful investment. Family Weekend is a wonderful tradition at The University of Iowa. This year's event (held November 11 to 13) includes the Gameday Breakfast, a magic show, a Sunday Dance Marathon Brunch, and other activities. Please join us!
