Opened just in time for the start of fall classes, the new Learning Commons in the Main Library already seems to be a hit with students.

The 37,000-square-foot facility located on the library’s first floor (with a new entrance off Madison Street) offers 18 group-study rooms, 100 computer work stations, comfortable study spots, a service desk, and a café. To learn more about the Learning Commons, which is open 24 hours a day (except for Friday and Saturday nights), see www.lib.uiowa.edu/commons.
