The University of Iowa is pleased to announce our new online bidding system, eBid. 

Effective May 19th, 2008, the Purchasing Department will begin issuing and receiving bids through this new on line bid system.
Registered eBid vendors realize several benefits:

• Free vendor registration

• Email notification of available bid opportunities

• Ability to respond to bids online from any computer

• A calendar of upcoming bid opportunities available for viewing

• Savings of time, money and effort

ALL vendors — even those currently in our vendor file — will need to register to participate in any upcoming bid.

Once you are on the eBid site, select New Supplier/Vendor Registration and begin the registration.   You will be notified once the registration has been processed.  Failure to register may result in missed bid opportunities.  Click here for detailed Supplier instructions.
Note:  Up until the release of eBid, the University of Iowa Purchasing RFQ page will continue to display current available bid opportunities and eBid updates.
