The University of Iowa Quiz Bowl club had no shape or substance until the Fall of 1994.

And it began to take form with an e-mail — sent by Trevor Schultz — directed towards Carleton's Eric Hillemann. Trevor's question was very simple: Did the University of Iowa have a Quiz Bowl team?
