Academic Interests: Ryan T. O'Leary is a Ph.D. student in the Modern Religious Thought area specializing in philosophical theology, religion and its modern critics, and post-Christian theology. His particular areas of interest include the philosophies of Friedrich Nietzsche and Martin Heidegger, especially as twentieth century existentialist theologies and philosophies have responded to their ideas.
Current Academic Activities: Teaching Assistant for Judeo-Christian Tradition (first semester) and Religion and Society (second semester). Preparing for Comprehensive Exams and Dissertation Research.
Ryan received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and his M.A. from Syracuse University. He came to the University of Iowa in 2006. |
