I am a PhD student working in Modern Religious thought under the direction of Dr. David Klemm.
Primarily, I'm interested in modern conceptions of freedom and autonomy and how these conceptions are shaped by and in turn shape religious and theological considerations. I've also begun a minor concentration in Islam with Dr. Ahmed Souaiaia. When possible, I also investigate the problem of evil, current cultural fascinations with apocalypticism, and religion amidst modernization.
When I'm not studying, I enjoy weaving together the following: hanging out with my wife, grilling, making specialty coffees, and playing guitar. |
