Have been spotted in the following locals: Selling Ice Cream on Cape Cod; meeting with revolutionary cells in Estonia; watching friends die after gang warfare; harvesting fruit from my apple, pear, peach and cherry trees; studying liberation theology in Columbia; being robbed while white-water rafting on the Ganges; playing dodge ball with my four year old; meeting with Ortega in Nicaragua; driving a big truck on Ragbri; hanging out with the wife; teaching yoga to thousands of unsuspecting disciples; sitting in the back yard watching the leaves fall.
Research Interests: India; Yogic theory; Ritual Theory and Practice; Environmental ethics; religion and society; Judaism.
Dissertation Topic: Rethinking Community: Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Buber--Their Utopian Visions then and their communities that cotinue to the present. |
