Megan received her M.F.A. from the
Program in Nonfiction Writing at the University of Iowa in 1998. She has frequently
served as a faculty leader in the Rhetoric Department's Professional Development
Program, and was acting director of the Writing Center in the spring of 2000
and during the 2000-2001 academic year.
A member of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, the Conference
on College Composition and Communication, the National Council of Teachers of
English, and the Midwest Writing Centers Association, her interests include
creative nonfiction, composition theory, and women's studies. Megan Knight has
taught a range of undergraduate courses, including Rhetorical Praxis: Rhetoric
of the Personal Essay, the Undergraduate Nonfiction Workshop, Nonfiction Writing,
and GER Rhetoric classes.
