ISC Photo Contest Details...

I am sponsoring a photo contest for sailing club photos. I would like to put together a photo cd for use in club publications (advertisements, flyers, scuttlebutt, slide show, web site, etc).

subject matter: anything having to do with the Iowa Sailing Club

• the lake (spring, summer, fall, winter)
• the boathouse area
• the park
• people sailing
• people racing
• people on screaming reaches on honkin'-wind days
• people iceboating
• people b-b-q'ing
• people doing anything "club"
• whatever else you can think of

• a copy of the photo cd

format:
any format--slides, 3x5, film, electronic, etc.

deadline:

contest and prize 1	July 1
contest and prize 2	November 1
contest and prize 3	February 1, 1998

judges

An independent panel of judges as yet to be determined (not me--that way, I can enter and not have to buy as many cd's if I win).

And if you have photos you'd like to submit that you don't think will win, please do it anyway. they could be good stock photos. I'm looking for lots of them, so give me anything you have. Any old photos are also welcome.

If you have prizes to throw in, lemme know, or if you want a copy of the cd when it's finished (or any of the scanned photos), lemme know (a price will be determined for the cd's to cover the cost only).
