The format was five sets of three matches, with each of the six boats racing against each of the other five once. The course was quite long (for Macbride), stretched out lengthwise along the South arm. Weather was really nice, with winds between 10 and 15, and temp up around 70 to 75. The skippers and crew were:
Loren and Siobhan
Mark and Joy
Bill and Laura
Grant and Rick
Ben and Cherise
Aaron and... and... ?
The fifth match race included a race against the two undefeated boats,
Loren and Mark. The match started off with the closest start of the day.
The upwind leg was a tacking war, with Loren gaining a little more ground
against Mark with each tack.
The downwind leg saw Loren pull ahead of Mark significantly, and Loren had
a clear lead by the time they reached the downwind mark.
By the final leg, Loren was way ahead of Mark, and
arrived at the finish line quite a distance ahead of Mark.
