Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing StudentsServices for deaf and hard of hearing students may include American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, English transliterators, on-site and remote captioning services, CART, notetakers, and preferential seating. Many large auditoriums are equipped with FM systems. Personal FM systems are available as well. Several classes are taught in American Sign Language. The Wendell Johnson Speech & Hearing Clinic is available for student screening and evaluation. |
