Alternative Media Services (AMS)
Alternative Media Services helps students gain access to printed classroom materials (including textbooks, syllabi, and handouts) in alternative formats.

Assistive technology is used to reformat materials. Since the process takes time, students are asked to discuss material reformatting needs with their SDS advisor as soon as possible and submit an Alternative Media Services form to our office. Requests for printed materials in Braille may require significant lead time.
