Complaints Regarding Student Disability Services

Student complaints about Student Disability Services or the actions of SDS staff are pursued through the following channels.

1. The student first attempts to resolve complaints directly with the staff member involved.

2. If the student and staff member cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, the student speaks with the SDS director about the complaints.

3. If a satisfactory outcome is still not obtained, the student may contact the Vice President for Student Services (335-3557) to discuss the complaints.

4. Alternatively, students may consult with staff in the Office of the Ombudsperson or the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity.

Academic Complaints

If the student's complaints concern faculty or teaching assistants or academic policies, see Policies and Regulations Affecting Students (Division of Student Services).
