Archery
In the Middle Ages, archery was used for both hunting and combat. Welsh archers especially were known for their skill with the long bow. In the East the Mongols were renowned for their ability to hit their target while riding at a full gallop. Within the scope of the SCA, Archery is grouped under the same heading as heavy and light weapons fighting. In Calontir, archers are recognized in the same way as the heavy weapons fighters, earning the rank of Boga-Fyrd and Boga-Hirth.
