Zach Spittler Hometown: Manchester, Iowa Pledged: Fall 2002

I'm majoring in Journalism and French here, and I attempt to play jazz trumpet. Currently, I play in the University Band (woo hoo! U-band!), the Jazz Lab Band, and I'm taking private trumpet lessons from Aren Van Housen, one of Professor Greenhoe's TA's. I like long walks on the beach, cuddling by the fire, cramming into my mouth large quantities of Listerine Strips. Wait a second--wrong bio. My bad!

My vision for Phi Mu Alpha is to further the development of music production and learning in any way I can. For this chapter specifically, I covet what we can potentially be a veritable source of strength for our province and our school of music. We're definitely taking the right steps to get there, but by no means have we arrived. It's my personal agenda to contribute my total focus and abilities to help achieve this goal, however that may be.
