About SISCA SISCA is comprised of School Counseling students at The University of Iowa. Our mission is to support each other in our educational and professional endeavors as future school counselors. SISCA members have the opportunity to attend several professional development conferences during the school year. Included are the Iowa School Counseling Association (ISCA) conference, the AEA 10 Counselor's conference, and the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) conference. SISCA members often have opportunities to present information relevant to school counseling at these conferences. SISCA meetings occur monthly and topics discussed include professional development opportunities, educational issues, event planning, and fundraising activities. |
