2008 Grad Applicant Visit Day

The Sociology Department welcomed eight students, all interested in finding out more about our graduate program and our department, to our 2008 Graduate Applicant Visit Day, which was held on Friday, March 28th.  We had an amazing group who, we hope, will decide to join us in fall 2008!

Students were from colleges and universities located in Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Texas, and Utah.

Seven of our guests are pictured below with Professor Jennifer Glanville, Director of Graduate Studies, and Professor Michael Lovaglia, Director of the Center for the Study of Group Processes.  One applicant was unavailable during this dinner photo shoot.

The day was very successful and the unusual Iowa weather we've been experiencing this winter, even cooperated... somewhat.  We're looking forward to seeing some/most/all of these familiar "new" faces in the fall!
