Minglu Wang

I came from China and entered this graduate program in 2001. The friendly atmosphere of this small but diverse department impressed me and made me feel like living in a big family. I am interested in studying social stratification, political sociology and theory, especially their application to the economic, social and political changing processes in China. This study life in the U.S. itself is a chance for me to observe and interact with another people and culture, which continuously gives me new views on both the societies of the U.S. and my homeland, China.
