Mary Noonan

Associate Professor

Mary Noonan's research interests include gender, work, family, and quantitative research methods. One of her current projects explores the relative impact of transitions into and out of marriage and employment on women’s poverty status. In another project, she and colleague Jennifer Glass are assessing whether employees who use workplace flexibility policies – such as schedule flexibility, telecommuting, or reduced work hours - experience lower earnings growth compared to employees who do not use such policies. She teaches courses on family and research methods.
