Work Experience

In late 1977 I spend a decade working in social services in Syracuse, NY. Multiple direct practice and administrative positions in the field has afforded me many rich opportunities with a variety of populations such as At Risk Youth, Chemically Dependent Adults, HIV/AIDS and the Homeless.

In 1993 I entered academia as an adjunct instructor which launched my profession in Social Work Education. My experience began at the State University of New York at Albany and four other schools of Social Work including, Florida International University, Barry University, Florida Atlantic University and now the University Of Iowa School Of Social Work.
