ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released new guidelines for nursing home resident quality of life, effective June 17, 2009.
These guidelines can be used by social workers to further justify the need for nursing homes to honor resident rights, quality of life concerns, and palliative care desires.
