Effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral skills training and case management with drug abusing clients, adolescent and family conflict and communication, perinatal substance abuse and family violence, evaluation of drug treatment programs, effectiveness of social work practice in medical settings.
Education:
- 1975 A.M. University of Chicago. Master's degree in social work from School of Social Service Administration. Major concentration: Applied Behavior Analysis. Minor concentration: social treatment with individuals, families, and groups.
- 1980 Ph.D. University of Wisconsin-Madison. Doctorate in Social Welfare from the School of Social Work. Concentration areas: research methods, assessment of group behavior, single-parent family, parent-teen interaction, statistics.
