Proficiency
Excerpts
The following orchestral excerpts may be asked on the
Proficiency Test, which is normally taken at the end of
sophomore year. The test also includes scales (2 octave
major, natural minor, harmonic minor, melodic minor,
chromatic) and arpeggios (2 octave, major, minor, dominant
7th, diminished seventh).
