Currently advertised positions: The University of Iowa Department of Spanish and Portuguese invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor, 20th-Century Spanish American literature, Ph.D. in Spanish or related field, by August 2009. Knowledge of Southern Cone or Andean literature desirable. Background in literary theory desirable. Opportunities for interdisciplinary teaching and research.
