Sarah Ann Wells is an Assistant Professor of Latin American Literature and Culture in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at the University of Iowa. She specializes in twentieth-century Argentine and Brazilian narrative, with a focus on the interwar period and avant-garde practices; the relationship between modernism and mass culture; and theories of history.
