Tania Carrasquillo

Tania Carrasquillo Hernández is a Ph.D. Candidate and Dean’s Fellowship Recipient in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at The University of Iowa. Her research interests include Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Literary Production in Puerto Rico; Caribbean Diaspora; Women in Literature; Literary Theory. She is currently developing a research on the literary magazine Zona de Carga y Descarga based on Rosario Ferré Papers at the Firestone Library.
