There are three UI Staff Council supported scholarship opportunities available to all staff members at the University of Iowa.
The UI Tuition Assistance Program
The Tuition Assistance program allows eligible staff to apply for financial
assistance to help defray the cost of tuition only fees for one college
credit course (up to four semester hours). Semester Application Deadlines
are: November 22 (spring), April 20 (summer) and July 20 (fall). Read

The University of Iowa Mary Jo Small Fellowship
The Mary Jo Small Fellowship is an award that University of Iowa staff
members may use to help defray costs of course work, regional, national,
or international meetings or workshops, training opportunities on and
off-campus, and/or work release time to prepare publications. Read

Coke Funds
The University of Iowa has an exclusive contract with the Coca-Cola
Company to distribute their products on campus. A portion of those
proceeds is provided to Staff Council. Staff Council's funds are
available for programs and projects that benefit staff in the broad
categories of Professional Development & Education, Recognition &
