The open forums will focus on the general university excluding the UIHC and the health science colleges.
The UI Smoking Policy Review Committee has been charged by President
Skorton to review the current University smoking policy. Two general areas
are under review:
• Current limited exceptions to the no smoking restriction within
UI facilities.
• Establishing restrictions on smoking in the external environment
on
University property.

The Committee would like to hear from all members of the University community and invites you to participate in an open forum to share your views on this issue. The forums are scheduled for:
April 19 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. IMU Terrace Room
April 24 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. IMU Terrace Room
