Hello,
It was a great meeting. It lasted nearly 3 hours and included some very frank and honest opinions about the best course of action to take to move forward. The governor was an excellent discussion leader, who continually brought us back to the point of how to move forward and what scenarios could be considered to help.
We agreed to work toward getting a president of the University in place. Given the nature of the discussion, it is best if we postpone a vote of no confidence in the board leadership until January to devote time to work on some of the issues discussed tonight. The governor promised to speak with all of us again within two weeks to update us on the progress that has been made on the issues discussed. Please feel free to contact me about the positives and negatives you see in this plan.
