Statement: I have been an employee at the U of I for a total of 9+ years, first from 1995 to 2002 then again from 2005 to present. I have four years of supervisory experience here at the U of I along with my time away from here.
I am interested in staff council to gain better awareness of events happening throughout the hospital and the possibillty of making a positive difference.
Being a minority myself I am interested in the culteral diversity committee of the staff council, not only for myself but for staff whom I supervise. I'd like to improve awareness of the cultural and ethnic differences here at the hospital, not only to staff members but also the community.
