Staff Council
University Staff Council is an elected body that represents
approximately 5,500 non-bargaining professional and scientific
and merit supervisory exempt/confidential staff members. These
dedicated people have a substantial impact on the teaching, research,
and service goals and outcomes of The University of Iowa. As a
university-wide representative body, Staff Council members promote
communication among staff, central administration, Faculty Senate
and Student Government.

Staff Members Receive Awards
Fourteen staff members at The University of Iowa received awards for excellence in 2007. The staff were recognized with one of three annual staff awards for excellence presented by the UI Staff Council, including the Board of Regents Staff Excellence Awards. Read more.
