Message from the President
Thank you for serving on the Staff Council.
Individually, we are supervisors, researchers, administrators, assistants, editors, technicians, counselors, or advisors. Collectively, as staff, we are at the core of every important function in the university.
In 2009-2010 we are facing the challenges of flood recovery, budget moderation activities, policy changes, restructuring administrative teams and functions, etc. To help Staff Council fulfill our role, we will get better acquainted with each other and become better informed about the structure and function of the University of Iowa. This will assist us in addressing crucial issues of special concern to staff. We have a unique opportunity to help make the University of Iowa stronger and better. Thank you for being an active participant.
