We greatly appreciate your interest in helping to support our efforts in the community. We try to offer a variety of ways that businesses, organizations, and individuals alike can help to ensure the continued efforts of the program. Of course, if you have any other suggestions, please contact us as we would be glad to discuss your ideas. Described below are the three main ways in which we have received support in the past:

Donation:

A charitable donation is a very common route with all categories of supporters. The 10,000 Hours Show is a certified not for profit agency with a 501(c)(3) account run through the University of Iowa Foundation. All donations given in this way are considered tax deductible by both state and federal governments.

Sponsorship:

We recognize that sometimes it is hard for businesses to support a non-profit organization for financial reasons. This is one of the reasons we have developed our Sponsorship Program, offering advertising and other incentives for financial support. While sponsors are offered the same thanks and listings in both our programs and website that donators receive, a sponsorship cannot be written off when filing your tax return. Sponsorship levels can be discussed in more detail by contacting the staff through the addresses below.

In-Kind Donation:

In-Kind donations are a great way to show your support to the program. These donations are used as incentives and awards to volunteers throughout the year to help motivate community service. In-Kind donators will be listed the same as both sponsors and donators on both our programs and website.
