The 10,000 Hours Show offers a free and easy way for you to recognize your current volunteers and recruit new ones with a great concert ticket.
To participate, you simply need to:
1. Be registered with CorridorVolunteers.org
2. Have service opportunities appropriate for young volunteers posted on it
3. Promptly verify the hours your participating volunteers serve and enter with the Corridor Volunteers database.
Instructions on these three steps are below, but first, here are some key things to know as a 10K nonprofit participant.
• In order to ensure 10K participants earn their way to the concert, only volunteers with at least 10 hours verified by eligible nonprofits are awarded a ticket. To recruit and recognize volunteers with 10K, your nonprofit must verify their hours! (Verification tips and eligibility criteria can be found at the Nonprofit FAQ below.)
• 10K Eastern Iowa is a general volunteer outreach and incentive program, but we (sadly) cannot guarantee the individual quality or character of volunteers who connect to your nonprofit through 10K.
• The 10,000 Hours Show Eastern Iowa is not liable for any volunteer or volunteer opportunity. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age to participate in 10K Eastern Iowa.
