For almost nine decades, Theatre Arts Department alumni have had a major impact on American culture. Many have had distinguished careers in theatre, film and television. Others have taught at universities, colleges and secondary schools throughout the country and have influenced generations of students.
Alumni are also a great resource for those completing their Iowa degrees. They offer advice and help to young artists beginning their careers. Many of them are members of Room 41, an on-line network composed of hundreds of Theatre Arts alumni from around the country and throughout the world.
When you join the Theatre Arts Department, you become a member of a vibrant community that extends far beyond the University campus.
