David Thayer Theatre

Thayer Theatre is a director’s dream: a large, flexible theatre with high ceilings, and seating for between 144 and 250. Seating units roll to accommodate all designs, and catwalks on three levels offer directors the chance to use every inch of the height of this beautiful theatre.

Theatre Specifications

  • 60’x60’ Black Box theatre with catwalks and a tension wire grid at 36’
  • 144-225 seats using flexible seating banks
  • Computerized lighting system with 400 dimmers/ 250 fixtures (ETC Expression 2X)
  • Flexible sound system with digital and analog playback (SFX)
