PRODUCTION DEFINED

The term PRODUCTION is used in the Theatre Arts department to cover the entire process of taking a play from page to stage.

It begins with season selection and schedule, to the first meeting of the artistic team, to casting procedures, to budgeting, to final designs, to the countless hours in each of the shops implementing the designs, to acting rehearsals, to marketing development, to stage managers organizing rehearsal schedules and technical reheasals, to house management, and then we open the play...and then we maintain the production for two weeks.

PRODUCTION covers the spectrum of everything we do and how we do it.

This page provides detailed information for those working on productions in the Theatre Arts Department.
