The University of Iowa National Collegiate Tae Kwon Do Team is coached by Mr. Ashton, Mr. Norpel, Mr. Nelson.  The team competes at various tournaments throughout the year, culminating with the National Collegiate Tae Kwon Do Championships.

 

The team, an officially recognized student organization by the University of Iowa, trains and competes all year long. To apply for membership on the team, you must be a current University of Iowa student and see Mr. Ashton for details about extra training sessions and competition team workouts.

 

•    1998 - 7^th place, Princeton, New Jersey.

 

•    1999 - 2^nd place, Los Angeles, California.

 

•    2000 - 2^nd place, Ames, Iowa.

 

•    2001 - 3^rd place, Austin, Texas.

 

•    2002 - 8^th place, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
