- Course Info: The course is an out-and-back triangle swim from
Lake Killdeer Jetty. Boats and safety personnel will be on the lake at all
times. Wetsuits will be allowed, as per USA Triathlon rules. Our challenging
15 mile bike course takes you through lightly traveled rolling roads. The 5K
(3.1 mile) run is flat and fast. It will leave from the Dewitt High School
and skirt the outer residential area of Dewitt.
- Directions To Race: Dewitt is at the crossroads of highway 61 and
highway 30. Most will take 61 north from Interstate 80. The race is 20 miles
north of the Quad Cities and 15 miles west of Clinton IA

(first run) and back (second run). The bike is an out and back course down
the trace from the transition zone. ~ This race requires a mountain bike or
hybrid bike. Road bikes are not recommended.
