Available during the first two weeks of each semester and again during Early Registration in November and April
During the times mentioned above, the Academic Advising Center has an Adviser on Call (AOC) four hours each day. The AOC can offer assistance in several ways, including:
Seeing students advised outside of the Advising Center who have questions about the General Education Program.
Seeing students advised in departments thinking about switching majors.
Seeing A-9 students who need information or who wish to register.
Seeing students advised at the AAC who want information about a major their own adviser doesn't advise.
Handling questions/phone calls from departmental advisers/faculty.
Please feel free to refer students to our office. If they call ahead, students can find a time when the AOC specializes in the major in which they are interested. Click here for the AOC schedule for current period.
