AOC is a drop-in based program that is generally available during the first week of each semester as well as during March and April in spring semesters and mid-October through early December in fall semesters. During these times, the AAC has an AOC four hours each day. The AOC can offer assistance in several ways, including:
Seeing students advised outside of the Advising Center who have questions about the General Education Program.
Seeing students advised in departments thinking about changing majors.
Seeing non-degree seeking students who need information or who wish to register.
Seeing students advised at the Academic Advising Center who want information about a major their own adviser doesn't advise.
Handling questions/phone calls from departmental advisors/faculty.
Please refer students to this program. Students should call ahead to find out when an AOC is available who specializes in the major in which they are interested. The current Advisor on Call schedule is available here.
