Several NEW Child Care Programs:

 

Funding to help pay for a babysitter evenings/weekends so that you can study, write a paper, prepare for exams, participate in a study group, etc.   If you have not already applied and do use a babysitter evenings/weekend, request an application by emailing jane-holland@uiowa.edu or by calling 335-1371.

helps when children are ill, a school closes for bad weather, intermittent care is needed to meet a deadline or parents want a Saturday night out.

A Student Parent List Serve to inform student families of programs especially for them.  To join, address an e-mail message to listserv@list.uiowa.edu (note there is no “e” at the end of listserv) Put the following in the body of the message:

 

            subscribe STUDENTSWITHKIDS yourfirstname yourlastname

 

You will receive an e-mail in return confirming that you wish to join the list.  Once you respond to this message—you’ll be on.
