Neighborhood Watch:
In conjunction with the University of Iowa Police, residents have started a neighborhood watch program to look out for each others' families and property. If you are interested in attending meetings or serving as a block captain, contact the Neighborhood Watch Coordinator Mike Johnson: nabenz75@yahoo.com, 353-4774 or 325-4747; or contact UI Police Officer Brad Allison at 335-5043. (Mike Johnson is also the new Graduate Assistant for the apartments. You can call him for after-hours problems)
If you observe any suspicious activity, call UI Police at 335-5022. If you need to report an emergency, call 911 (you do not have to dial 9-911, just 911). Watch for announcements of upcoming Neighborhood Watch meetings, usually held in the Apts Office.
