ADOC stands for Active Disciples on Campus.  Disciple refers to the denomination Christian Church Disciples of Christ.  If you are an Active Disciple this group is designed for you.  Like the name says, it is also designed for anyone who is not a Disciple or a non-active Disciple.  (Honestly I don’t think Active Disciples actually exist on the U of I campus)  Basically, everyone is welcome.  This group is designed to be open and accepting for anyone who wants to explore their faith and have fun.  Ultimate frisbee, camping, cooking/eating, serving, going on a mission trip, talking, bowling, fellowshipping, worshiping—anything we decide to do in a laid-back environment.  If you are looking for anything of this nature or it sounds fun (because it will be), please come!  Sundays at 7, location will vary; contact Sally at sarah-hakes@uiowa.edu for details.
