The major goal of the committee is to respond to the problem of sexual assault on campus. The two major areas of concern are:
grass-roots programmatic efforts.
policy formation and advisement at the university level.
Provide the opportunity for the different offices to meet together to share programmatic efforts, concerns, expertise, and ideas about sexual assault.
Coordinate campus awareness activities.
Assess the campus climate regarding sexual assault.
Advise university administration on matters related to sexual assault.
